The IFL has began in 2000 the publication of a collection of a book series named "Language, Cognition and Communication” related with its fields of research. The books are constituted by translations of seminal authors of this area or by original texts of the researchers of the institute. The purposes of this series are on one hand to spread and promote the divulgation of philosophical topics that are not usally covered by the portuguese editors and on the other to spread the original scientific research made by the Institute.
